This is a pretty typical breakdown of what I have been eating to get to achieve my weight loss goal. Number of calories on this day was right at 1700.

it would be pretty hard to consume that much protein from whole foods without getting weird with it.  how many grams of protein is in one of your shakes?

15 g

It's usually something like 3 small containers of Greek yogurt in the morning, a couple chicken breasts or steak for lunch, and a salad with chicken/cheese for dinner (plus shakes).

Also the 15g number is only if I make them with water and not skim or almond milk.

I've actually read about professional power lifters going on all protein shake diets for a month at a time to lose weight. I couldn't imagine abstaining from solid food for a month!

the whey i use is really lean and has 22g per serving. I usually take 1.5 with 8-12 oz. of whole milk.

I picked it up at wildcat nutrition after I ran out of the unflavored bulk stuff that I had. I don't mind it.

What's everyone's best tasting protein brand? My top spot goes to either Biotest's Metabolic Drive or the good ol' Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey.  :lick:

GNC protein tastes like artificially sweetened butt.
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.

Yes....not a big fan of their stuff.  The muscle milk chocolate is pretty good and EAS Lean 15 isn't bad either.

What brand?  I've had some that tasted like ashes.  Finely ground ash chowder.
