Played raquetball today.  Wooweemama.  Was I ever tired afterward.

I was kicking ass and down 12 pounds and then I started working and have hit a plateau.  Need to start doing that thing where I kick ass again.

It can be tough when you're working full-time. Get on the SD 10-6 plan and whoop some ass in the morning before going to the office.

what is everyones thoughts on alternating running/lifting during a workout. I like running like 5 minutes at a decent pace, then going and doing two or three lifts while my heart rate is up, then running another 5 minutes, then lifting again, then running again. am I getting anything out of this more than just running for 15 or 20 minutes then doing all the lifting? maybe I lift too light because I feel like my heart rate isn't always up high enough.

I just tore a callous on one hand and gave myself a blood blister on the other deadlifting. I hate hook grip and I hate today.

I like doing supersets with minimal rest time. If I'm running it's probably sprinting up a rough ridin' hill then being done because running blows.

Also you probably are lifting too light if you are constantly running back and forth from weights to a treadmill, if you are worried about your heart rate just do super or tri-sets with minimal rest in between. For example sometimes I'll do something like dumbell presses, chinups and rows all one after another with no rest. If you do that your heart rate will be jacked. Save the running for the warmup if you still want to run.

Yoga is pretty awesome. I think it's better at night actually. It makes me sleepy sometimes.

I'd prefer to do it at night, too, but it just doesn't work for me.

I've done it at home following the p90x yoga video before. I did it with my girlfriend so it didn't feel as weird but it works and the routine is pretty good.
