Urbandale is a real shithole.  Ankeny is where it's at.  Plus, they produce a crap load of kickers.

is ankeny nice? sure. would i want to live there? f no. look, move to des moines because it's nicer and more fun than wichita but don't move thirty miles north of dsm just because. just don't. move close to des moines down town. maybe we can pak at carls place (would be worth it) or sometime.

Mods, please cut out the last dozen or so shitty posts and create a new IowaShitholePak thread.  This is about Topaka.  Speaking of which, It looks like I'm stuck at work again.  I would be up for some Topak'ing for our Saturday game though.

Anyone?  Just me and Sundance Kid?  Was really hoping to get a group of at least 6 or 8 EMAW'ers in a various stages of drunkenness.

Of the places that were mentioned a few days ago, I would be okay with Skinny's.

There aren't many places EMAW friendly in this crap-hole of a town, but that place is likely to be a cesspool on St. Pat's. Even at 11am, but to be honest I'm ok with that.

I am superstitious. We lost the last time I attended a Topaka, and won this last game when I had a SundanceSoloPak.

Hey guys, I'm having a #Gottlieb4KSU pak tonight, and going to the rally tomorrow. If there are any EMAWs who would like to join in, holla at a playa.

I won't be able to drive EMAWS to the rally as I am going to mhk for reasons other than the rally. If you need a ride there, I can do that, and I can bring you back Sunday and cannot offer a place to stay. But a ride solely for the rally I cannot provide.

Pak tonight though, at my place. Drinking and listening to podcasts is on the agenda so far. Open to other options!

Should work well with my "Weber's Saints Go Marching In" headline that I've yet to come up with yet!

This game is too big to watch with non-emaws. If you guys aren't up for a 'pak I will go back to Manhattan.

paked in eureka springs over thanksgiving one year (i remember colorado beating nu's ass, i was a senior in high school).  my cousin (16 at the time) and i smoked some cuban cigars and he puked in our hotel room.  it was disgusting.
