I decided to take the day off and went to bww with a few people.  Very emaw crowd if you dont mind the corporate thing.

Skinnys is just down the street tho, and a good place.   :peek:

Skinny's slogan should be: Fun during the day. Awful white trash hickville during the night.

good first attempt. i love saul, but you might as well have me there. we're both horrible at stuff like new katpaks and making the rounds and things. my advice would be to have all the topeka pakr's show up to the next moap and then you have the benefit of pete and other elite pak'rs there with you. will make everything so much easier moving forward. also, alcohol and not having to work afterwards. god damn though, love you guys for trying.

Can moap be explained? I've never known what that meant.

Mother of All Paks. Takes place before the first home football game. Day long event with lots and lots of elite goEMAW'rs. People come from all over the country to attend.

yep. today was probably a mhkmoap but the game sucked and we really didn't really get the chance to hang out before or after. everybody was kind of spread out but it was still fun. a good game in the second half and we would've burned the place down.

moap (historically) has been the mother of all paks like stevesie said and takes place during an early fball game when the weather is still nice, etc. it's when every person that wants to come by comes by and good times are had by all. the biggest get together of the year. i've been to all of them and they've been great. come with a friend or whatever and talk to a lot of people or don't. it's a better time than you think it would be.

Not gonna lie, I stopped reading this thread after I first realized there was no drinking at this "pak."  Not sure if I can think of any reason, ever, to hang out with a bunch of strangers to watch a game if I'm not drinking.  Topeka?  No thanks.

I might be relocating.  Heard the terms today, I'll decide between now and Sunday.  Regardless, I'll continue to pak in Des Moines.  Not really sure what this has to do with the Great DryPak of 2012 though...

Just leave them alone. Not everyone has to drink to have a good time.

Well, if things progess as planned, I would certainly pak with SD/RD/the other socks in Des Moines.  I even have a Pak location in mind.
