Serious question from horribly uninformed American, me: How did Egyptians convince themselves that the U.S. has been an ally to both Egypt's former dictator, Mubarak and Mubarak's main enemy the Muslim Brotherhood? (Also, are we allies in this with the MB? That seems like a bad idea).

I feel a lot better knowing there's a K-Stater over there doing some part of the diplomacy. That bodes well for future US-Egyptian relations, right?

Morsi now offering more concessions via Facebook (srsly lol wtf) while Tahrir is going bananas waiting for military statement with groups breaking up sidewalks for throwing purposes and twitter full of conspiracy theories about last minute meeting (and more "Arabs are always late/the revolution is stuck in traffic jokes).
