I don't think I can do this, but Kietzman, Nick Wright and Mellinger are being contacted via email.

I was wondering if there would be people willing to call in and just say something about fatty. I think it would be best if we brainstormed a single sentence and then everyone could just call in and just get on and get off. That way it would take the pressure off the caller and they wouldn't feel bad if they never met fatty in person and they wouldn't fell bad if they couldn't come up with anything.

My suggestion for the protocol would be as follows:

"Hi, this is ____________ I'm just calling on behalf of fatty. So good people can be happy. Just for a day. Because good people deserve good things. Even if just for a day."

Please stick to this simple format, practice your lines and do your personal best.

Will also call a Wichita show and Wildcat Insider on KMAN, it would be wrong not to have a townie show included.

Low-calling-into-radio-show-IQ, but I think be prepared to tell them what you want to talk about and make sure it's what they're talking about at the time. My guess is they'll freak and dump at least the first one or two, but if we're good at getting past the screeners, they can only dump so many.

I shall do my best. God speed.

EDIT: Might not be a bad idea for someone that knew fatty more personally to try and call in really early and say a bit more so there's some context to it and they don't just start hitting the dump button because they don't know what's going on. Just a thought.

I have not shared in any of the other threads but the reason i found ksufans was fatty's videos, and loved reading his posts. I did not know it at the time but I ran into him on the concourse at the UNL basketball game in Lincoln last year, he slapped my hand and was very pumped for that game. I loved reading his posts and everything he stood for. I almost vomited when i got on the boards after the game on saturday, and Shawn or as i knew him as: Fatty always put a smile on my face and I am jealous of everyone who knew him personally, and my thoughts, and prayers go out to all of you.

All those guys read the board. They know who he is. Anyone that follows K-State sports any more than casually knows who he is. That's what set him apart. He transcended the typical.

Had to set it up a bit before I delivered the line, I knew they would give me some time to talk about Fatty for a little bit before giving his quote.
