I don't believe any of that because all of the things that happened could have been easily fixed.
1. Had to walk 300 yds with equipment- So? There is very little equipment that a basketball team needs to unload at the hotel. And why would they ask for permission where to unload? That doesn't even make sense, just unload where the bus parked when they got there.
2. Had to wait for an hour in the lobby.- BFD its a Marriott not a motor lodge.
3. Told they couldn't have a shoot around until 8 AM on Saturday because of a WBB game.- Does their operations guy not have a computer or the ability to see the conference schedule. That WBB game was there in the summer, was one of the area high schools, middle schools, elementary schools or Haskell not available? Even so 8AM is fine for a walk through. More on this in a second.
4. The phones.- Come on, just not close to believable
5. The tables & chairs in the meeting room in a corner and no video equipment.- So the team went to watch video without the support staff going into the room to set the video up? Every team who does this stuff in the world has their video guy set this stuff up before, it isn't a sub at English class in junior high. They come into the room with video cued and scouting reports on the table. If the crap wasn't set up the managers would have done it well before the team came into the room. Also if this story wasn't a load of bullshit and the tables and chairs were loaded into a corner, remember that walk through they were talking about? Many teams do it in these meeting rooms. If there wasn't a DVD player, could they not send someone to Wal-Mart, do they not have $40?
Like the NMT t-shirt story, these two fanbases can't stop from lying about stupid crap.
