nothing in the noncon, and really no wins over any definite tourney-bound teams (so far), but they'll be 10-4 in the big east if they finish their win today, with a decent shot to finish 12-6.

Seems like 12-6 in the Big East would pretty much be a lock.  Seems like .500 there pretty much gets you in.  How did they get to 10 wins with no good wins?

there are lots of really bad teams in the Big East, and Pitt and Nova are way down.

i'd guess they need to get 2 of the last 4.  seton hall at home is probably their best win, unless you strongly discount home vs road games.

The national guys seem to be pretty dismissive of the Bulls.  Stan Heath has done a great job I'm dismissing the dismissals as racism.  People keep citing Syracuse going 10-6 in the Big East and still being regulated to the NIT, but the bubble is so soft and there's 4 more spots now.  Seriously though the problem with a conference that big is the unbalanced schedule.  They are like 1-1 against the other Big East bubble teams.  We have no idea how they good they are because they've played a million games against the sorry BE teams.

USF went 6-6 in the non con....... with 3 bad losses and only one top 100 win

In Big East.    They are 10-4 but only 1 win vs top 50 (S hall) and 2 wins other wins vs top 100 (  both vs Pitt whose RPI is almost 90)

Games left = At the Cuse and Lville.   Home vs Huggybear and Cincy
