My Dad just told me this evening that when he was a teenager he saw a military plane and a private plane crash into eachother mid air. Said he was following two blinking lights and saw a huge fireball and he had no idea what it was until he went inside an hour later and saw the story on the news. I was all

if i owned a story like that, my friends would all be pissed at me for drunkenly repeating it 2x a week

Saw an owl swoop down and grab one of our cats and carry it off and the cat was clawing it and freaking out and the owl dropped it and it fell to the ground and ran to the house seemingly unharmed.

Once I was walking to Intrust Bank Arena and Fanning was walking in the middle of the street in front of me.

Someone drove by and yelled "Get the eff out of the way, Fanning"

Saw this exact same sign in Denver a few years ago.....had the exact same response.

yeah, I saw the exact same thing on the internet in roughly 1999 and every year since then.

Saw a guy try to step on the ledge in front of a large store window and trip. He fell through the window into the store.

Saw a homeless guy in South America drunkenly walk into traffic and get hit by a car so hard it flipped him over and knocked his shoes off. My girlfriend made me run into the street and haul him onto the sidewalk (it was a tiny poor-country car, so it just broke his leg). When the police/medics finally showed up, the guy was still unconscious and they were asking me who he was. I had no idea, so I looked in his back pocket for ID. It was full of playing cards.

Homeless guy in Toronto.

While waiting for friends to arrive on train I started the day at a McDonald's and saw him outside. He was "sparring" with a newspaper machine. He kept his fists up and landed some good jabs. Then he noticed some of the other homeless were making money doing the "windex and newspaper" routine to cars at the stoplight. Except he had neither so he just did little jigs in front of cars and then asked for money, nobody gave him any. My friends show up and we go to the toke bars.

Fast forward a few hours and joints later and we're at a pizza place. This same bum is getting in a fight with another bum over a towel. They box in the street, his practice earlier did not help, and the guy got damn near curb stomped. Then he starts yelling at people on the street
"Are you happy?!?!?!"
"I guess I'm just a loser!"
"I'm glad I got my ass kicked!"

Meanwhile another random dude, looked normal, was standing next to me talking in tongues to a tree. Weird day on the streets.

Was walking down the street on St. Thomas with my wife and a few friends headed to a bar on the beach. I see a "Bob Marley" looking fellow walking toward us saying something to people as he passed them. When we came up to him, he mutters, "Bad habits....get your bad habits here.". I turned after he passed and just smiled. I don't use the stuff, but I thought it was a funny/effective sales pitch on his part. True story......

This rough rider pulled out a pork chop and started eating it while flipping off everybody riding.

I was driving to meet some girl (could be in master dating thread, but i'll put it here) in Winfield, KS. Took a wrong turn somewhere and ended up in Augusta, KS. I was on some crappy gravel road and found a place to turn in to town, but there was a road closed sign. I ignored it and turned anyways. A couple turns later and i'm literally in the middle of a small Kansas town mainstreet parade, sandwiched between a couple of horse drawn buggies. I get lots of confused looks from the spectators. Every road I want to turn off on is blocked off so i'm stuck. Eventually the parade route ends and I speed away.

I did this once in soldier Kansas while taking a scenic drive home from the golden eagle casino. I rolled down my windows and started throwing pennies out to the kids running into the streets for candy. I was also just moving back from Manhattan and my car was loaded to the gill with every rough ridin' thing I owned. I know what you're thinking... who the eff stops at a casino after they've moved every single thing they own out of their apartment? I didn't have a place to stay for 3 days, so I camped at Milford for and drop up to topeka to meet some friends for a morning/day/night of gambling.
