Pro tip: Age 5 may be too early to introduce E.T. to some kids. My daughter is apparently scarred or life after watching E.T. when she was 5 and refused to watch it with me last night.

Can confirm. My sister watched it when she was around that age and had nightmares for months. Still hates that movie because of it.
