As someone whose done a little work in the area of branding for the past 25+ years I'll chime in once more. :)

Branding is much more than a logo or uni. LHC LHC Bill Snyder has created a brand that someone like Currie couldn't ever dream of creating. No offense to Currie, but he (nor any other AD) could never have created the kind of brand Snyder has. Steve Miller didn't do it and neither did Jon Wefald. It was LHC LHC Bill Snyder. Not just because he created a logo that looks cool on a helmet but because he changed the atmosphere and attitude of K-State football.

From a graphic design perspective, while a helmet like this one gets everyone all worked up and excited, it would look terrible on TV. Just horrible. The Powercat would be lost. White with a purple Powercat might be cool or even purple with silver or white Powercat . But this one won't fly.

I'm not against change but I'd hate to see us get all goofy like some schools have done. Who knows, we could all be surprised next fall! :)

That is literally one of the dumbest things I have ever read.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Someone needs to find a way to place a tight fitting lid on BSFS right before Harley day.

I love the tucks who constantly talk about how good and nationally recognized our brand is. Hint: it isn't. People all over the country have asked me WTF that weird Thundercat thing is and who the hell it represents.

The other day I had jimmy johns delivered. The delivery guy sees my powercat sign while he's handing me my food and says "Man, sweet thundercats poster"

Love how tards think LHC Bill Snyder is the sole creator of the powercat.   If that jack ass really was a graphic designer, he would know that Bill was only a client and very rarely does the client know what the eff they want or they're asking for, let alone design something.  If Bill had any input on it at all, it was probably: "The purple looks a little too pansy-ish.... can you make it darker?"  2nd of all, if your branding hasn't solidified your identity within 30 years, it likely won't ever.

National brand. We've created an image. We should never change these uniforms, because they're as classic and nationally recognizable as the uniforms/logos of Michigan or Notre Dame or Penn State or Miami or Texas.

I doubt he was rough ridin' with me. I live in Chicago and the dude had a neckbeard/was fat.
