I cleaned out my car the other day and what did I find but a spare belt! That thing had to have been in my trunk for at least the past 3 years and I never realized it.

ugh.  I realized I have until Sunday at 11:59pm to get 30 hrs of continuing education for a certification I have.   So I've been watching webinars and reading articles and taking the cute little 10 question quizzes all day.

A multitude of sources.    Construction related, so a lot of it is reading about new products and answering quizzes about how "green" they are.   

just read a 6 page article on the usage of electric hand dryers (sponsored by Dyson!) versus paper towels, identifying life cycle costs, environmental impact, and energy usage.

yup.   Took 12 working hours, but I managed to get in 25 hours of CE plus I have 7 hours project experience, so now I'm good for 2 years.

got cert'ed at the old gig.  heard rumors then that they were going to look into starting continuing ed requirements.  Quit that joint and my new one doesn't even know what LEED means.  Haven't used it once since leaving.

yeah, keeping mine up just in case, but I've done one project, and with many of our customers (including the feds) now reevaluating LEED, I'm doubtful we will see much more.   At least I didn't pay for it.
