Taught my kid to boogie board today, hit a "jackpot" on a game at the arcade and won 400 tickets, then finished up tonight capturing ghost crabs (and releasing) on the beach.  Oh, and ice cream TWICE!

we also went on a boat tour and saw like 2 doz manatees, bunch of dolphins(two mating right next to the boat), and saw an aligator swim right by the boat, out of the lagoon, and waddle it's huge self across a golf hole right behind an unaware golfer, and settle down in the water hazard.   Afterward, the guide let my 8 y/o drive the tour boat for like 20 min. 

I am basically dad of the year.

we watched a guy boogie board today and a couple guys surfing.  Would def like to get them in on that when they get a little older.

Orlando all week, but cocoa beach today.   It's been pretty great. 

I love Gulf Shores.  Haven't been since right before college, but loved it as a kid.
