Cramer made himself rich by being a tv star. he isn't making anyone rich based on his picks.

First of all it's Zynga (ZNGA), just in case anyone wants to look it up.  Secondly, the price is up because of Facebook's recent IPO filing and their affirmation of a solid relationship with Zynga.  Zynga makes apps too.  They're the makers of Words With Friends, for instance.
Yep, you got me on that one Zynga.  Facebook filed on the first and Zynga did not budge til after hours on and made a huge jump Thursday mormning.

Cramer made himself rich by being a tv star. he isn't making anyone rich based on his picks.

During Cramer's tenure of the fund, from 1988–2000, he had one year of negative returns in 1998. The following year in 1999 the fund returned 47%, and in 2000 28%, beating the S&P 500 by 38 percentage points.[9] Cramer retired from his hedge fund in 2001, finishing with a 24% average annual return over 14 years and having "routinely [taken] home $10 million a year and more."[9]

Still can't believe Laura Palmer is dead.
When one person, for whatever reason, has a chance to lead an exceptional life, he has no right to keep it to himself.

Jim Cramer!?  LMFAO.  Mods, please move this to the n00b investors who follow a guy because he has carrot top props and is very, very full of zeal master thread.

The one guy who liked movies and made really, really crappy movies and had movie showings and was super laid back.  OMG!

Nobody follows Cramer in this thread and the only reason he is mentioned here is because Rusty brought him into it.

That kids name was Ed and I hated him.  Seemed very stupid.

If you think a bunch of crunchy old people that listen to NPR in the morning have any effect whatsoever on the stock market, then I can't help you.

these shows were on past my bedtime when I was growing up.

oh yeah, me too, but we had a tv in our basement where my room was that nobody upstairs could hear.  anyway, twin peaks as a, like, 9 or 10 year old kid really fucks with your head.  like, it does anyway, but as a kid you really get messed up in the brain.

Did 10 year old steve dave make it through the entire second season of Twin Peaks? To say it wasn't as good as the first season would be a bit of an understatement.

I like NPR.  I get to keep up on the news when I drive to and from work.  Throw in a little mandatory CNN at night, and I feel like I'm sufficiently in the look on the main stuff.
