Anyone else think that Will Davis could possibly be a stud? I may be wrong.

Great how everyone bases how good a player is off of other BCS offers.

I'm open to other suggestions how how better to judge them.  Personally, I have thought about it a great deal, and Ii can't come up with anything nearly as good as that.  :dunno:

It's a data point and a valid one.  Other things being equal I'd much rather see lots of competing offers from BCS schools but not destined to be with this staff.

Well, doesn't that kinda prove the point that we have crap recruiters and get worse recruits?

I mean, we obviously do a good job developing players and finding the occasional "gem," but just think how much better we'd be if we attempted to recruit better?

How are you suppose to be smoothing the waters if you leave the next guy with below-average recruits?

will davis is going to machine gun the running back with his intrinsic values.
Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.

Why are we focusing on Will, somebody has to be the worst recruit in the class.

Does anyone think this dude could possibly convert to like, tight end or safety or something? I mean, he has turbo swivel hips and the right collection of positive adjectives to probably do something like that for us. Either way, excited for this dude.

Gotta agree with Pete.  I mean sure, this kid is a 6'1" 4.6 forty running LB who benches 375, squats 500, just won the Texas state championship and was named the defensive player of the year in Texas.

But recruiting is about picking up the phone when Rivals or ESPN calls and listing off all the schools who have offered. The schools can't talk about recruits. You have to do it.

If you don't pick up the phone, you're not going to get 4 or 5 stars and you're going to kill our recruiting ranking.

Cody Whitehair did the same crap last year.

How the hell are we supposed to know who to get excited about?  I don't want to watch film.
