Just said Rodney got fouled and the refs swallowed the whistle, but didn't on the other end. Will he get any punishment for saying that?

typical frank, blame someone else on the loss and accept zero responsibility.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

his mentor would have had to been tased and dragged out by security, but frank likes to get in his shots from a distance in post game interviews.

Pro tip for Frank: don't blow a 14-point lead down the stretch, and you don't have to worry about a bad call at the end.

Extra pro tip: get some sort of ball cannon and shoot basketballs at your players until they can hold on to a freaking basketball. Our fumblefingers are ridiculous and disgusting.

You know what this is about, don't you guys? That's right.....dollar signs.

Dollar signs.

Feeding the Iowa State cash cow is the Big 12's number one concern.

It's about recruiting, not coaching, at this point.

I'd say a fine is definitely coming...

Quote
We lead our conference in free throws attempted. We don't do that because we shoot 3-point shots. Coming down the stretch, we kept throwing it in there, never shot a free throw. Every time we took a deep breath on the other side Iowa State shot free throws.

Still, you've got to buckle down and guard them and we didn't do that.

Quote
Rodney, bless his soul, he's earned the right to be a big-time player in this league. He tried to attack that rim and post. For him to not shoot free throws is a joke - just an absolute joke.

Quote
We were trying to go to (Gipson) down the stretch there. We ran the same plays back-to-back times. Rodney catches it, they grab him nine times, he throws it into Thomas and Thomas scores. Then we ran the same play again. It's a one-point game, Rodney curled it into the paint, got hit again, but got treated like he's some inferior kid. Instead of him shooting two free throws to put us up three, he missed the shot and we don't get the rebound.

Frank tried to add in the "but it didn't cost us the game" lines, but I don't think it matters.

And I loved the "but got treated like he's some inferior kid" line.

Regardless of the good ref/bad ref and the time of game discussions, I love this from Frank.

Coaches make plenty.  They should say crap like this all the time.

He didn't say enough as far as I'm concerned. Should have taken a shot at the horseshit charge to foul out Angel. Go off on the refs, maybe they'll pay attention to you next time.

Would such a fine be made public, or will we never hear any fallout?

Seems like several of other coaches were made public last season.  Not recalling specific examples, but seems like I remember hearing about it two or three times.  Could be wrong.

So does Frank gain a point or lose a point here?
"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."

Looking at the links, Wooly's comments seem much more blatant (also lol at re-enacting the "forearm shiver" for the press after the game).

Did Ford get fined or reprimanded for his Paige comments? Sounds more or less the same.

Saw this, too. My god what a terrible season that was:

Quote
The play left Kansas State -- which had lost 65-64 to No. 7 Texas on Feb. 22 -- with its second straight one-point loss to a Top 25 team. It also gave the Wildcats a school-record nine losses this season by five points or less.

Wasn't that the Drew Lavender Game? Probably something about the basket interference. who knows.
