Agree. a 99 would have meant the same thing. he had it won already so he needed to be rewarded for going for it on his last run.
Yeah...and I'm not exactly sure how those runs are scored, but he did put his hands down for balance after he landed the last jump. IMO, that's not perfection. 99 would've been more reasonable.
Guessing that was more like a lifetime achievement award so that nobody could ever say they scored higher than Shaun White on a run. Like you said though, I'm kind of OK with it because of everything he's done for the sport.
