i thought you guys were just kidding but i still went and checked the big12 site. there seriously are games on wednesday. wtf? they are making the bad teams play each other to decide who gets to go to the actual tournament which starts on thursday. really weird. have they ever done this before?

I'm guessing it might take a little longer than normal.  He might have to check with Big XII Commissioner Dan Beebee, who in turn will probably have to phone his research team to dig up some old Windows 97 .doc file to figure out what's going on here.  I'd say late Monday at the earliest.
