I think that by the end of the season one of ku/baylor/mizzou turns out to be a complete fraud.

I agree, and I believe it will be KU and Mizzou...

Maybe skewed cause we beat them so bad, but I'd be surprised if Mizzou is a 1 or 2 seed come tourney time.  I think they are good, but they will lose some games down the stretch where they don't shoot the ball well or Ratliffe and Moore get in foul trouble against a good offensive post.
:adios:

yeah, shouldn't have included them, before the year I thought withey and robinson would have foul trouble and they would be hurt by that but that hasn't been the case.  Of course there aren't many skilled bigs in the league.

I think that by the end of the season one of ku/baylor/mizzou turns out to be a complete fraud.

Most to least likely:
1) BU - The most overall talent, but still coached by Drew. The anomoly of the season so far is probably how they played in Manhattan.
2) MU - I still find it hard to believe they are where they are. Ridiculously good offense and good enough defense. Haith has gotten amazing buy in for a first year guy. Could be the ultimate proof that college basketball can be a guard's game.
3) KU - Self is Self (really good). Still have really good players, though maybe not the overall depth of their recent teams. Even when they play poorly they find ways to win. Huge key IMHO is that Withey has become Aldrich-like on defense.

they didn't win that game, kstate lost it.

complete fraud is ridiculous though.  we're 6-7 games into the conference season and none of those teams have more than 3 losses.  they aren't frauds.

Yes, that is most of the reason my reaction to that loss was overly dramatic.

True. I suppose I was more picking who would be most likely to end up finishing outside of the top 3 spots in the league.

yeah, that part of my post was for cire for advancing the idea, not to everyone else that played along.  i could see kstate catching baylor, certainly a tie is feasible.

this is a rebuilding year?

We lost, like, the best scorer in K-State history. And a pretty darn good big.

We have 1 senior this year. We often start 2 freshman and a sophomore.

What would you call it?

A normal roster for a Frank Martin team.

Yes, Frank Martin rosters have regular attrition.

But Frank Martin rosters haven't regularly lost 1st Team All Big 12 players and POY candidates every year.

That's why I'd equate this year to 08-09 season; maybe "rebuilding" is too strong, but its at least a year where there were plenty of question marks going into the season.

Squawkclams (and others) = BUTT TOLD

maybe you missed the part where i was right and he was wrong.  dumbass.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.
