I thought it took more than 7 minutes for Gipson to get his 5 fouls. Maybe not.

Surprised expresion on face = technical and 5th foul.

Throwing a tantrum = no technical.

It was a make-up for the Guerrero no calls.  The officials were shown up twice in a 3 minute span.  I bet the official that called the T made mental note of the two Guerrero spaz outs and was looking to get control by lighting someone up.  I knew a BS T was going to be called and I was hoping it wouldn't be on us.

osu fans hardly booed at all.  that's like a license to make bad calls for a reffing crew.

It's not about screwing KSU dumbass, it's about poor officiating.  The technical fouls, quick whistles and slow whistles at different times of the game, and overall lack of consistency or accuracy of calls.

Yes because it's been a trend to this point.     Are you going to continue to make stupid comments?  will enjoy.

This just seems like the Big 12 officiating I've always seen.

Watch the officiating in the KU-UT game. It's horrible and Longhorn fans simply don't care. Just keeps getting worse.

It really was a poorly officiated game, and I thought we were on the wrong end of most.

I can't understand how major college basketball has such shitty officiating through and through.  To say its manic is an understatement.

it seems worse to me, but maybe i'm just growing less tolerant.

If you think its worst bear in mind this is Jackass Curtis Shaw's second year as the conference supervisor of officials.  Curtis Shaw was the moron who made a production of leaving his shoes on the floor at the final four after his last game.

You have got to give K-State credit. You're looking at two teams, and one was allowed to play to their strength. We did not, and that's the result of any game. They like to offensive rebound, and they get 23 of them. They like to play physical, and they get 40 free throws."

"Our defense has been very good. I'm proud of our defense. Our defense has been stingy and fairly tough. When the game is going to be played like that, our team is going to struggle. That felt like a football game more than a basketball game. It kind of snowballed. I could never get a feel of what was going to be called. There were 52 fouls called in that game. I probably could have called 102 fouls. You can't call them all, and I understand that. They were allowed to play to their strength as a team, and I give them credit. They deserved to win the game. That's a tough game for us to play.

At some point people will learn that the only way the officiating is going to get better is if we start booing more.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008
