Manhattan Hoop Holler 'n' Shoot Champion in 5th Grade. 9/10 in pre-lims, 4/5 during half time of Cats game to win it. You can all suck it, free throws aren't that hard.

I like when people compare percentages of going and shooting 10 free throws in a row to sprinting down the court, getting fouled, then lining up to shoot them two at a time.

I want us to shoot FTs better, (65% is my standard for Frank teams), but I'll take going 23-40 over going something like 9-10 every time.

Kind of my thoughts.  I mean it pisses me off that we miss so many, but getting to the line that many times is going to win us more games than shooting a low % will lose games for us.  If that makes any sense

Good point. Plus in the 60s-80s pretty much every college team shot 85% from the FT line or better. These kids just work on shooting 3s and dunking, if they would just spend some time on them (and coaches would coach them better) then they should be able to shoot 85% today.

Deb's teams shoot well from the line.  I'm not necessarily saying that we should have Deb coach the men, but its a thought
