Major Concern: CTR is Dead. Who is our new Rival?

I've been worried about this for some time.  However, the game tonight locked it.  KSU has been bad, and they still can't help but beat UT.  I'm sorry to say, but the Great Chisholm Trail Rivalry just isn't a rivalry.  Singular domination, while nice, is not what rivalries are made of.  F'n horns, can't hold up there end of the bargain.

So, who is KSU's new rival?  We have to have someone out there that will provide excitement and get both fans bases wound up in a back and forth series.  I'm thinkin' it might be WVU, but that is a reach with no real history up to now.

If any of you says Texas Tech, you need to be shot.  Without Leach there, who the hell gives and eff.

This is a bad situation. The two teams most worthy of our hatred are leaving for the SEC. I'd say we should get angried up for one of the Oklahoma teams but I just cannot give two fucks about either of them. Maybe Ostate0 when they're good again. For now, West Virginia is the best candidate.

This would have happened much more quickly and with more intensity had the hillbilly fanbases of Moo and WVU developed said rivalry.  I don't want to piss down the back of a potential WVU rivalry, but the Okies are more culturally appropriate for us.

I was thinking more like British hooliganism.  Load up on trains and get utterly wasted on the way.  Disgorge downtown and walk through the streets knifing opposing townies and smashing store windows before rioting outside the stadium.

Then, for the select few in the crown, go inside and piss on opposing fans during the game before declaring their apparent discomfort with the urine is some sort of mean taunting of your fandom, and thus rioting inside the stadium while setting fire to the seats.

Sounds like a hell of a time.
