He was horrible. Every time the refs made a poor call he pointed out how good they were.

I was more amazed that he called Gipson "Rodney Samuels" at one point. It's pretty impressive to mix two players' names and apply them to a third player.

In a game that had a lot of terrible things, he might have been the worst.

Another "no, denied" for Fran: he repeatedly talked about how McGruder was always a slasher but now has "added the 3-pt shot to his game."

Fran, Rodney was a 42% 3pt shooter his frosh year, 41% as a soph.

Pretty sure he was also considered a 3-point specialist coming out of high school.

While Frank was doing his postgame show after the game, Fran was out interviewing Barnes. Frank got on the PA hooked up to the mike while on commercial break and said "that is one of the best coaches and one of the best human beings in the country" about Rick. Very nice from Frank.

Didn't realize he was live at that point, thought it was still commercial.

He said Rodney Samuels when referring to Jamar.

Why does Frank like Rick so much? Not sure about the human being part but I gotta say I disagree with the "best coaches" part. Do you think that's why Frank tried to lose this game... because he likes Rick so much?

Barnes keeps compiling "really talented" teams and Frank beats them. Why wouldn't Frank sing his praises?

Bill and Mack. Frank and Rick. Its cute how our coaches are best buds with their CTR rivals even though they own them on the court/field.

Kabongo is at least a pretty good basketball player. Complimenting shitty refs is just inexcusable, though. The only thing harder than finding a good ref is finding a good cop. You don't have to point out their shittyness, but at least don't try to pretend like they are doing a good job out there.
