The biggest issue I have with title 9 is the bull dykes in charge insist that Football be counted in the scholarship count.   If the football scholarship count as it relates to Title 9 were eliminated or at least halved,  then it would be much better.

As it relates to K-State chick ball, I am all for completely dropping the program and starting a women's soccer and softball program.

We could take about $10 million out of the basketball practice facility project, use 1/3 of it to build respectable softball and soccer venues, and then pump the rest into improvements inside the arena portion of Bramlage itself.

Make it rain . . . K-State women's hoops is an annual $1.2 to $1.5 million dollar black hole, even when they got the big crowds from the Clay Center gal days, they still lost money hand over fist.

This is what I meant.  Drop women's basketball asap.  Don't want them sniffing our new practice facility.  Need more equestrian type sports for the ladies.  Can't think that equestrian is losin as much money as women's bball.

I'm aware of all of this and none of it addressed the very clear points of my post.  Eliminating women's basketball is such a stupid talking point it shouldn't even be addressed, it isn't going to happen, anywhere so why talk about it?  It's like talking about how better it would be if humans can fly.

Rain . . . never said it would happen, I know it will never  happen, but it's not stupid to discuss why it should happen.

Just got a text that a press conference is set for 1:30 on kstatesports.com. Do you have to have passport to watch?

i would imagine if they sent it out as a mass text that it wouldnt be.  but wouldn't put it past em either.

From twitter.com/kstatesports:

Important press conference regarding men's basketball program today at 1:30pm. Watch live for FREE on Powercat Passport at kstatesports.com

It appears he's done exactly what everyone was bitching about . . . and it also appears he's going to get the basketball practice facility built.   There's a chance dirt could be moving on that project before his 1 year anniversary on the job.   That's got damn impressive right there given the $hit sandwich he inherited.

My only beef with him right now is all the water he's carrying for Patterson.

I hate, hate Title 9.

Title 9 has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with Currie giving Patterson that extension.  There are programs that actually make a little bit of money off of estroball.  Don't blame title 9 for poor AD decisions.

Patterson's contract was up after this season. So his choice was either to pay Deb or pay a new coach — either way, $$ would be about the same.

Thank you, Jesus.

Jesus had NOTHING to do with this.  Thank your goEMAW leadership team.

Much like Samantha Ryan, this organization does great things.

yep, that was ol' d dawg.

i've sent some fairly strongly worded messages to currie in the last few weeks.  looks like that sexy, sly devil just sent me a retroactive crap sandwich via one deputy dawg.

  you win this round, curriesey.
