seems like frank signed his cushy new contract and immediately started mailing 'em in.

thanks to currie at least we got most of a season of good bball.  too bad he couldn't hold out any longer, but i understand the kind of pressure the 17ers were subjecting him to.  he did the best he could.

not just 17ers though. rumors have it that currie got a couple of "pay frank" bombs dropped on him while walking up second 2/3 before the game yesterday. he apparently responded w/ a "how much are you in for?" response and quickly got a "whatever it takes".

just realized that:  "martin finally took the time to negotiate contracts instead of prepare for ku/isu and look at the results" might be a better talking point.

just throwing both out there.  let the market decide.

Can someone find out what the buy out clause is??   :runaway: :runaway:
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

Still not sold on him, especially amid these reports of real-life poster intimidation that he pulled in the OOD.

It appears he's done exactly what everyone was bitching about . . . and it also appears he's going to get the basketball practice facility built.   There's a chance dirt could be moving on that project before his 1 year anniversary on the job.   That's got damn impressive right there given the $hit sandwich he inherited.

My only beef with him right now is all the water he's carrying for Patterson.

I hate, hate Title 9.

Title 9 has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with Currie giving Patterson that extension.  There are programs that actually make a little bit of money off of estroball.  Don't blame title 9 for poor AD decisions.
