Would Texas be a trap game?  I mean, we do own Texas and all.  So if we win it is no big deal but if we lose it is a catastrophy!   :runaway:  I'm getting a little  :ohno: about this one....

I feel good about beating Texas. Frank's first year was the only time he's lost three in a row with the third loss coming at home, and that was to a Top 10 Texas team that won 30 games and made the Elite 8.

I'm more concerned about winning in Stillwater for the first time in nearly 20 years.

Should be no problem beating OSU in Stillwater as long as Frank is through with BIOQ
OSU has a small team and is shooting 39% in big 12 play.

Yeah, OU was shooting 34% in Big 12 play. They shot 55% against us.

We couldn't lose this game if Frank ran out Deb's players.  It's Texas.

Contain Brown, he'll get his, but keep him off the line where he's money and his pts can really add up in a hurry.

Stay in front of Kabongo, his jumper from deep is not worthy of a lot of respect but I've come to the realization that we're not going to sag off anyone, so help be ready. I think he's similar in style to Flip Pressey but not really as good at this point, so I do think we can get the job done.

Offensively, attack the paint, attack the rim, pound them on the glass. They don't have much depth, size, or experience in their frontcourt.

haven't seen much ut, but from what i have seen of kabongo, he'll go by you but you then have a great chance of getting him to pick up a charge or commit a turnover.

Yeah, good handle and speed to burn but wouldn't call him a 5* decision maker at this point. I haven't seen him play every game but I haven't seen much of a mid-range game from him either.

Hope we're ready to help and rotate, I think we will be.

This thread is waaayyy too positive for this board.  Consider me officially super concerned about UT now.  (Also, my concern level for the OSU game has been upgraded from blue to yellow. )

I find that these types of practice reports typically are followed by a very shitty performance. Let's hope Frank didn't just jinx himself.
