Since Frank seems compelled to imprint his life story on every basketball season, it's simple to predict his legacy here will be the same.
The underlying theme is that nothing comes easy and there's always a chance things could skid out of control over the brink. There has to be hardships to overcome and that takes hard work, lots of it. Winning any other way is worse than losing.
And so I see us on an upward trend over the next two to three years, there will never be a drama-free season, no matter the talent and experience.
So when he leaves and the sports journalists will likely write the legacy to fit Frank's script, a constant struggle to overcome . . . what exactly.
Maybe if Frank would have been talented player or if had ascended into college coaching without being fired at Miami High, he could except good fortune with grace. But that isn't Frank and it doesn't appear if that's going to change.
