I felt his first few games were on another level below par.  I had a mini melt after the CU game because of how he was getting picked apart. Afterwords Jake came out and said he was playing like crap, was focused on pro career instead of finishing strong and was letting his team down.  Lets be real, if he had continued on the path after CU, with the NCAA issues and overall failure of expectations do you really think he could get his number up?  Hell no.  he would be sitting on records, he would be the greatest "what could have been" player from K-State basketball.  To say otherwise is absurd.

he was playing fine before.  he played unbelievably after.  you are overstating the degree to which pullen's statement agreed with your calling him a pussy, and no one other than you actually believes that he believed what he did say.

i have to disagree.  Senior leaders don't get crushed like he did with that CU game and have NCAA issues which threaten the entire campaign unless your priorities are seriously misaligned.  He spoke pretty specifically about how he was deficient.  It wasn't just playing bad, it was entire approach.  I would not say he played well at all the first few games.  I remember the one point where I made the most outlandish comment was about him getting destroyed by a freshman or soph from CU.

I didn't do anything to harm the team.  I made my comments publicly and haven't edited them. 

More importantly on point here, I haven't threatened anyone with real world violence because I was wrong.

Please note the proving wrong comes from every major media outlet agreeing that super conferences are where we are headed and Penn St redefining how they let Joe Pa go because they had the knee jerk reaction.  Just 2 examples.
