Frank teams can never succeed playing defense that poorly. (I know that's not insightful or surprising).

Yep. Embarrassing defensive performance. OU is not a good basketball team. Right now neither are we.

Nino did get some extremely valuable minutes.

he actually showed that he might.....might...be able to play the (offensive) game of basketball at a below average level.  I was under the impression that he was a complete Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) and frank was giving him a scholarship for tax decuction purposes or something.  his defense was rough ridin' awful, but every ksu player's defense was.

Was hoping Frank was going to bing him in around 8 min left. Shane was bombing threes and I was losing it.

Only had 19 turnovers and allowed OU to shoot 70% in the second half.

Silver lining.

The thing is the defense pretty much stinks in Big 12 play. We played great defense in 1 game and terrible defense in 3 games. The last two games we have allowed both teams to shoot an eFG% of 59%.

Pretty sure he was hurt.  No way a Big XII coach would throw a game to teach a lesson.

kinda, yeah.  although the d against baylor was a lot better than against ou.  iirc, it was pretty good in parts of the ku game, but not consistent.

i really can't compare today's d to anything.  it was worse for an entire game than any martin d i can recall for a long time.

Maybe Stan should start being mean back. "Hey Frank, have YOU ever heard of defense?!"
