I have Brutal Legend, played it a bit, seems cool, just haven't really gotten in to it yet.

IDEA:  You know how kids are too lazy these days to go outside and play sports so they play video game sports?  Well pretty soon they are going to be too lazy to play video games.  So I'm going to invent a video game that is of a kid playing video games.   :surprised:

I need to download the demo of this. I really wouldn't think it's worth buying in addition to FIFA 10 (OOOOH! South African stadiums! Confetti!), but I heard the game play is noticeably different.

Improvement? Worth it?

on brutal legend. i played the demo a while back and liked it ok. wouldnt pay full price for it but seems good enough

also ordered a new sealed copy of mirrors edge for 9.50 (thats counting shipping costs)

Well Portal will be free, as their using it to advertise for Portal 2.  TF2 and of course HL and HL2.  I think I read that LFD2 will be too, not sure about that though.   I don't know what to expect going forward, it's not like Valve is opening a new market to these publishers since the games could have been ported over before Steam for Mac and sold outside of Steam.

The rumor "picked up Steam" when Steam for Mac was announced.

And yeah it seems like it will be Valve titles and w/e other titles were already available for mac.  Still, I love Steam and it's game sales so i'm happy it will be reaching more potential customers.

Red Steel 2 pretty much kicks ass though. If blocking bullets with a sword and shooting people in the face while they are on the ground is your cup of tea...
