Sometimes the company (cough, ubisoft) will make the PC version so god awfully shitty and DRM out the ass.

I think it's a wash in most cases. You can build a very solid sub-$1k gaming PC that you can upgrade every few years. Not only does the PC do "other things" that a console can't do, you actually do save money on games (PC games are generally cheaper), as well as saving $40 a year on XBOX live.

But, PC has its drawbacks as well. Rarely do I get a PC game that works like it should the first day. Can't do "couch co-op" on PC's. It is expensive to upgrade...I can buy a console for the amount of money I drop on a video card.

I upgrade my PC just for the sake of upgrading. I don't game a whole lot on it these days. However, it is nice to know if you need to load up Battlefield 3 you can play it @ 2560x1600 just fine.

I used to like PC gaming more, but I've gotten a lot more casual and prefer 360. I play with friends and it's more comfortable. I still get down with some Civ and other stuff on the PC though. My friend gave me a 7900 GTX recently, so I may get something to push it a bit.

Other than that, working on Arkham City on the 360, and games like Osmos and Great Little War Game on my phone/tablet.

A 7900 GTX is pretty damn slow, fwiw

WTF. I meant to say 9800 GTX+. The 7900 was my old one. It's still not the greatest by any means, but it's a new toy.

i got madden and you can call out some commands with your voice if you have a kinect.  my 4 year old (badass emaw) likes to shout "timeout!" every time she sees me playing and costs me valuable to's.  she's kind of a dick.

this is the first madden that i've bought in like 10 years so i am probably not a good person to ask.  rgIII is really fast, though.

They completely ruined CS with this game. They removed all recoil feedback from the guns (not important for console games since half of them use auto-aim, and can't be managed with a controller properly, but on PC (master gaming race) gun feedback is very important. And Valve ruined it.
