Guys, thank you for your last suggestion of Uncharted 1 and 2. I have now finished these games, great suggestions. I am now in need of another suggestion for PS3.

Note: Fifa comes out soon and that will occupy most of my Fall but I need something where I can shoot people in the face too. Thank you.

Uh...Uncharted 3?

also, Uncharted for Vita is the cats ass. Downside is, you have to own a Vita to play it.

rampage.  GAUNTLET.

the only thing missing (and this is huge) is online multiplayer.

I loved the original Rampage, the sequels (world tour, whatever else) were very disappointing.  Loved Gauntlet. Agree with you, multiplayer is key for all of those.

I had a Gauntlet 2 Arcade cabinet for awhile, one night we decided to try and beat it...didn't make it. Think we got to lvl 63 and got tired of it.

Borderlands 2, oh my...awesome.

Is it still fun as single player?  All they talk about is the co-op stuff.

Yeah, I think so. I played it for an hour or so last night single player.

The co-op stuff is pretty well integrated...for instance if you were playing Single Player, anyone from your friends list could hop in at any time and it wouldn't disrupt your game.

bleh, diablo3 would be good if it didn't have a fixed camera and click to move.  i can't get over that.

played boarderlands 2 for a few hours tonight after experiencing some computer problems from it the last few days.  i'm hooked.

SAUL!!!  whenever i started bl2, my computer would just straight shut down after like 2 minutes (both cores were at 100percent so i don't blame it).  so i go into the bios at start up and there is a message saying my overclock values are invalid.  well, i've OC'd this processor for like 1.5-2 years and had no problems till now, so i reset all the values to default and now the game works fine.

what i'm asking is:  should i expect my cpu to just crap out at anytime now?  or do you think it's safe?  it's a 3.0ghz e8400 that's like at least 4years old at this point, so it's served me well.

oh ya, and i'm pretty terrible at games, but if you ever wanna do some co-op i'd do that  :peek:

Try upping your CPU voltage. Constant OC'ing of a CPU can hurt it in the long run, but it may just rely on higher voltages later in its life.

And sure...add me as a friend on Steam. My name is ...Saulbadguy.

Yeah pretty crappy/old. But would have to spring for a new cpu and motherboard :(

I've just got an older i5 750 and a ti 560 and BL2 runs on max settings just fine

yeah, it's old, but it does great.  i run every game on max settings and never have any issues until now.  it's outlasted 2.5 video cards and a power supply.
