I'm plugging along with my 4 starter planes between PHX, Vegas & SD.  I'm at Level 4 but not sure what that means.  It says I can buy airports & planes.  What should I be doing?

Right now there's no reason to buy planes though, right?  I just go round and round my SW triangle carrying around 1-2 people/things.

Just got to level 17.  It's going to be a long haul to get to 20 where the Fogbuster is available.  14 is Pearjet which, imo, is a better plan than the Aeroeagle you get at 16 which just has one more capacity, heavier, same range and much less speed.  Going to concentrate on pimping my Pearjets.  The bad thing is you can't really do transatlantics with pearjets without stopping off in the arctic or somewhere.  Fogbuster should be able to get NYC to London/Paris direct flights which is going to be dreamy.

Still my original 3 airports of Vegas, PHX and San Diego.
Still the original 1P, 1C, 2P & 2C planes, plus I bought a 2P1C plane which is helping a little.

I don't play it very often.  Every time I get a new level it tells me I'm now entitled to buy more stuff but I don't have enough $ to get LA, which seems like the logical thing to get.

I don't play it very often.  Every time I get a new level it tells me I'm now entitled to buy more stuff but I don't have enough $ to get LA, which seems like the logical thing to get.

Do NOT buy another airport that is under a 2, UNLESS you have to have a stop off point just to reach your bigger airport.

You need to spend your money two things, 2 more BIG airports (level 2 or above), AND two more plane slots (at least).  You are dealing with a bottle neck right now....not enough planes to make real money, AND not enough airports to service them. 

First priority should be to buy more airplane slots, second is to buy more Big airports.

Bought 2 slots and added the 2 planes you gave me parts for.

Also realized it helps to not do other stuff while planes are flying and grab the floating coins and bux.

So keep saving to get LA or eff around with Denver, SF, etc.?

At this point, buy the nearest level two airport (blue dot).  Then start to branch out, but still put a higher priority on getting plane slots than airports. 

Again, do NOT buy an airport under level 2, unless you need it as a stop over point.

Meanwhile, horde your bux and buy plane parts for badass planes, and "build" them as you get new slots.  In 2 or three levels from now, make sure you switch over to nothing but 3 seaters.

so, something's up.  all of a sudden I've got sailor guys in every airport (other than NYC) wanting to go to NYC.  Also, there are "ship rations" as cargo wanting to go to NYC.  I've abandoned all other passengers/cargo and am going all into Navy Guy Delivery Service.
