I got ACR. If you like the AC games, you'll like it. Almost like an expansion pack though, with a weird kind of annoying tower defense mini-game thrown in. I liked it.

Got a free game this week from a nerdy coworker I really don't want to be friends with. Dark Souls or something. He assured me it is 1) the hardest game available and 2) the most organically interactive, with other players able to randomly encounter you and challenge you to duels or some crap. Both points were like the worst possible thing you could have told me.

The only way to really pause is to clear out the enemies in the area and find a safe spot to stand around in. Even then, if you are human, you could (will) get invaded by a black phantom and get killed.

Did you make it out of the first level at all? (Undead Asylum) The first boss is pretty tough.

Ha. No. I thought I'd just play around on it for 15-20 minutes before going to dinner. I got sky-stomped or whatever several times while running around crushing pots all Zelda-style. Then I tried to pause to look it up.  :blindfold:

Yeah, gotta keep your distance, roll out of the way and whatnot. Try running around behind him and attacking.

I've found flying or driving vehicles is way easier if you do it from the third person view by pressing right thumbstick.

yeah, i started doing that.  i spend all of my time flying a jet or helicopter worrying about not crashing and i can never shoot anybody.

i've had more success in that game sitting in the anti-aircraft thingie.
