fifa 12 is pissing me off. the computer scores in stoppage time to equalize every single match. on pro, world class, legendary. assisted controls, semi controls, manual. doesn't matter. it's obviously fifa's problem and not my defense.

And Fallout: NV was pretty awesome. I tried Fallout 3 and didn't really "get it." But had a friend talk me into getting NV when it came out. It was pretty awesome. Skyrim should be good. yes too many good games coming out.

And I have mixed feelings on the Battlefield 3 Beta. I think I just need to play it more to decide if I like it a lot or not.

I downloaded and installed it on windows and it had and error and said I needed to reinstall. Then it had to completely redownload it. EA is king of shitty UI experiences. Seemed to work on ps3 but haven't had time to play it.

I tried it again around 6:30PM yesterday and got the error once. Pushed A again to enter multiplayer and it worked.

i don't think i've had a game frustrate me more since mike tyson's punch out. always played '10 on legendary w/ manual controls (i've never played online). i pulled it all the way back to pro mode so i could just dominate that and step back up, and have a whopping 15 points in 14 matches (8 goals) with sporting kc.

i at least feel like i'm getting better defensively, but man, i can't create chances for crap. back to the grind i guess.

The chances come with possession. The defense is still absurdly hard once the other team gets possession with people pushed up. Counter-attacking and through balls also lead to more 1 on 1's but finishing is harder.

all good advice. want to know something funny? i guess my style just doesn't jive with kc's default formation - switched to more of a custom 4-4-2 setup that i always used with tottenham and am getting along much better now. still doesn't change the fact that i apparently suck too much to adapt to a different formation, but at least solves some of the mystery.

Played a ton of BF3 last night. Love sniping. Everything else ok. Attachments for guns is great. Problem is how many glitches there are. The release day patch is going to be massive, hopefully. It's unbearable.

Also, the fact you can go into a match with only 4 people in your party, and still get split up in game is incredibly frustrating.

Yeah, I mostly use the sniper because the other guns with no attachments suck so hard and you can't shoot anything. I've been trying to use them, but you almost have to be right up on someone to be able to shoot them.

Yeah. Luckily you dont need many kills before you unlock some decent stuff.

The problem is you are playing an FPS on a console. Not smart.

Also, Operation Metro is a crap map, and Rush is not a traditional Battlefield game mode, so I have no idea why they chose that combo for the beta. Conquest on Caspian Border was fantastic while it lasted:
