and yeah, the NCAA '12 demo actually seemed to have significant gameplay improvements. color me surprised.

i pre-ordered it through walmart just the other day. if you pre-order, you get the "recruiting advisor" for free. not sure if that's pre-ordering through just walmart, or anybody.

Also, I don't know what they have A. Brown rated as I don't know his name, and if they have him as a starter, then he is apparently from a different town than Bryce.

they can't put the actual town that they're from, that is in violation of the ncaa. they have arthur as the 2nd rated mlb behind whats-his-face white guy.

thoughts, reactions? decent conclusion/finishing sequence imo, not great. overall I'd give the game a 6.5 out of 10.

the game was way too easy and there really wasn't any way not to finish it. i don't think they did anything all that new with the game like we were led to believe they did.

It wasn't a challenging game but it makes me think of what I would do differently in each case. I liked it, i'll get the sequel. Probably an 8.5.

I only have a couple cases left. I think they only revolutionary thing is the facial animation. That was spectacular. Besides that, it was pretty standard. I liked the linear take on a Rockstar sandbox. It made me care less about the city and the people in it though. In Red Dead, I loved riding through the desert, stopping robberies and gathering flowers and furs.

GTA IV is my 10 on a scale of 1-10, L.A. Noire is no where close to that.

It's like the spent 8 months pulling together a game based upon facial animation interrogations just to see if they could. meh.

There are a few things that LA Noire missed on. Can't buy new clothes, weapons, etc. Can't store cars. Not many "side missions" or whatnot. Can't even keep weapons that you picked up, always have the damn pistol.

Can't decide if i like the cartoonish GTA of the PS2 or the PS3 version trying to be all uber realistic better. Like them both. Will have to go on mass killing spree in all GTA's on PS2 and PS3 and decide from there.

EA sent me a code for a discount because they stopped supporting online play for 2009 and allowed me to pre-order 2012 back in March. Got an email that it shipped on Friday. Really hoping that it's in the mail box when I get home today.

The only time I had to redo a mission in LA Noire was when that jackass kept running me over with the bulldozer.

I don't think I failed any of the side missions. You didn't really need any other weapons than the pistol, the AI of the guys you were trying to kill was so bad.

Ya that one was kinda annoying, just had to wait until you were standing on the platform and boom, one shot.

I failed a bunch in car chase missions b/c i'd crash and then back up and crash again, etc and lose them.
