I don't understand how anyone could have expected DNF to be anything other than bad. In its 13 years of development the game has probably been re-written 6 different times by 3-4 different studios, each with a different graphics engine. The released product is nothing more than the realization that if the game doesn't get released now it probably never would, so they put enough bandages on the crap that 3d realms had already done and called it a day.

Got my 46th car. Found all the hidden cars. Over half way on landmarks. Halfway on street crimes. Need 5 more newspapers. Oh yeah, I'm a level 17.

Anyone else a social club member? The online stats are pretty awesome.

Ya, I didn't pre-order it...which is a rarity for games like this. I figured it would be crap.

Ya I'm a social club member but haven't really looked at it. I use the "ask the community" intuition thing alot. I'm level 15...just started Vice squad cases.

I didn't even know about the hidden cars until recently.

I'm level 12 now, somewhere around 35 cars. Only found 1 hidden car so far but haven't been looking.

I'm a social club member from RDD but not sure what that means. I've been collecting newspapers but hate doing it. Not sure how many I have.

can't figure out why the hell they didn't make it so we can turn the stupid radios off in the cars. hate that part of the game.

Just sign into social club in LAN. You unlock another suit.

ya its getting pretty tough for me too. usually what i do is block a busy intersection and run from car to car seeing if i get lucky. i call this "car fishing" and have developed a movie script based upon my exploits while car fishing. currently am selling the script around to my bigtime hollywood friends.

Damn, I'm going to spend a lot of hours playing that.

Also, Team Fortress 2 is now free on pc/mac through Steam for anyone that likes multiplayer shooters.
