Yes. Quick highlights from the 1 game I played:

Ventura's leg kick is spot on
I hit Hunter Pence in the face with a 98mph fast ball

Ventura took MadBum deep for my first run of the game
Live Roster updates in Franchise Mode (ie if the Royals make a roster move it will update your roster)

Bought a new mac book recently and have fired up some games. I am a strat guy and have decided that I like the civilization series a lot better than the real-time strats. Real-timers are a young man's game and I am old.

I have always enjoyed Civ alot more than RTS. Civ games though can draw out if you don't use accelerated turns...
