Very  :powerespect:, I know, but there's a pretty sweet tribute vid up on http://www.kstatesports.com/allaccess/.  He died, like, an hour ago and they just published it so they really must have had this one in the chamber and ready to go.   :surprised:  The video is cool if you're into grainy, old-timey sports footage and throwback uniforms and whatnot.

A few observos from this video:
-Old stadium was quaint
-We had grass for the first year at KSU stadium
-If you look at 1:33 you see that the Snyder era was not the first era in which we defiled our stadium with unsightly metal bleachers
-Sideline hashmarks going OUT of bounds?   :runaway:
-Pretty sure I see very brief footage of us tearing down wobbling down KU's goalposts at 1:41 in the video.  Can't be sure, as it's really short, but the music changes to ominous and someone throws something from the crowd and it looks kinda rowdy.

Who is the red team we're playing at 1:18?  Can't really make out the helmet.

wish schools still did this. Wish we did this. Playing on grass adds a whole other perspective to the game...It's what football should be.   :shakesfist: stupid turf.

I was at the basketball game where Vince was introduced as the new foot ball coach.  He gave about a 3 minute speech. Couldn't understand a word he said because of his accent, sounded like Jeffrey Dexter Boomhauer III on King of the Hill, until the last three words......."We gonna win!!".   The crowd didn't believe it but went nuts anyway.  A fun few years in K-State football. The new stadium.  Lynn Dickey, "Take It Back" Mack Herron, Art Strozier, Larry Brown, Cornelius Davis, Manuel Barerra and the rest of the gang.  You can't  imagine how dismal K-State football was before Gibby.

And Kansas State fans pray to Sam Walton for keeping their grandmothers employed while still living in rural Kansas.

You know Kstatesucks, you are really a very pathetic individual. No cute jokes or comebacks. Just that you are genuinely pathetic. The game is over, you can leave now so I won't sit  here and wonder how someone could celebrate the death of someone.

Truly a sorry individual who must have lived one mumped up life to be the person you have become. :barf:

I won't be leaving for at least 2-3 more years. You might just have to grow a pair until then.

Don't worry, some people can give it out but just can't take it. I won't hold that weakness against you.
