With at least 4 straight losses coming up.  Will be no need to look at bracketology in a week or so.

I'd take a 10 over the 8/9 line.

Just playing the games should help, but we really need at least one win in our next 4 games. Its not the most important thing, but our RPI is not good right now.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

would love meeting Ohio St in the 2nd round.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

They've been on a losing streak as of late. Plus Sullinger is always hurt.

HBBIQ types,

How many wins at the Phillips 66 will it take to get us up to a 7 seed?

TIA

Warren Nolan already has us at a 6.  Beating Baylor may seal the deal on a 7, and maybe it will be enough for a six.

Beat Baylor and KU, and I think we get up to the five line.  Win the whole thing, and we could be looking at a five or four, and easily a four if we beat Baylor, KU, and MU to win out the whole thing.

maybe 1, probably 2. ya never know with the committee. was anyone expecting us to be a 5 last year?? (especially after 3rd cu lost in first round of P66) i feel like everyone was expecting more of a 6-7-8 seed. so maybe that will happen again, and we will be a 6 or 7.

I'm digging Bracketville.

FYI, I would kill for that draw as a 7 seed with the updated projections.

No one in the world knows that, the chairman of the committee wouldn't be able to tell you that.  That's why this bracketology stuff is ridiculous, its all part of a giant puzzle and for seeds between 3-14 the movement of one piece effects all the others.  It's an S curve.  Our seed, at this point, has as much to do with the performance and profile of others as much as our own.  As matchups go there is a huge difference between a 6 and a 9, as seeding goes there isn't much difference at all.  The NCAA will move seeds for reasons completely unrelated to direct on court results.  See our 11 seed versus a 6 seeded USC in Omaha in 2008.

Saint Louis probably has a full on erection at the thought of that bracket and having a KU v WuShox and K-State vs Florida/Marquette session

Five seed last year was such a huge, wonderful surprise.

I know I should be jumping up and down about the chance to play a #1 seed in the second round but I obviously like our chances at beating a #2 or #3 seed a lot better.

I think we would have a shot at beating Cuse.  They can't board for crap.  If we were to get on the 8/9 line that's the #1 I would hope for the most.

Well, yeah, if we played out our ass they are beatable.  Not happening though.  Frank is going to stick to his dumbassery re: playing time, Will and Samuelols are going to continue to suck, Rodney will disappear in the spotlight, and the rest of the team will continue to give 0 fucks about winning.  Minus DOB, DOB looks like he actually cares.
