I love the "punting to Joe Adams" talking point.

I'm going to give you the privilege of reading 1 post by me that's straight up.

It was no secret that this game had two teams evenly matched (6-8) with Arkansas believed to have a slight edge in one or two facets of the game.  I also think most experts would say we probably had the edge in size, speed and depth, but not so much that a very good team like KSU couldn't overcome.  When you have two teams this evenly matched, a game like this comes down to momentum.  I doubt anyone who knows crap about football anticipated a defensive battle, but most people who know crap about football understand that in a game where both D's are dominating play, the last thing you want to do is give the opponent an opportunity to grab momentum from a special teams play.  Maybe it's an Arkansas thing, we've witnessed the friker making huge returns for 4 years.  I realize your team was in a tough spot, having to punt from your own 10 or so, but it was either arrogance or stupidity that lead you guys to give him a returnable punt.  Your D was playing solid and odds are, had you kicked it high and forced a fair catch, the odds were decent that the most you would have given up was 3 pts.  Since most fan bases in the SEC understand the nuances of the game, the "I can't believe you dumbasses punted to Joe Adams" smack is a pretty good dig, unfortunately it's lost on the likes of many KSU fans.

He caught the ball running backwards and should have been tackled for a loss. It was a great punt and poor coverage. I'm sure the Gods of the SEC would have just punted the ball out of bounds in field goal range, though.

You are wrong nofootballiq breath.  Most teams avoiding a return either choose to kick it OB or kick it straight up in the air and force a fair catch.  The safest play would have been to angle it OB but  doing so from you own 5 can be costly if the punter misses it just a little.  Joe lined up about just under 40 yards deep did 2 things.  It put him in position to field a short high punt and it also baits the opponent into doing exactly what you dumbasses tried to do.  If you paid any attention to the highlights of his past returns, most of them were fielded over the shoulder.  You dumbasses screwed the pooch at probably the worst possible moment.  Dumbern a bag of rocks

Arkansas played terrible, and we still dominated you turds.  Vandy and Ole Miss were more competitive.  We play and beat top 20 programs several times a year.  K-state beat Baylor.  You and your mediocre conference suck.  The Hogs would be in the national championship every year if we played in the BIG 12, whose reputation for good football is undeserved.

We know it hurts. Sorry!

Ask the ksu punt team.   they know what he looks like from the backside as he runs towards the endzone for a TD.  haha

It's just like Moose and OJ said:  That was not the K-State team we've seen all year.

Of course it wasnt the team They've seen all year.  They actually played someone that had a Defense and could stop CK.  Stop CK from running and you're left with WHAT ?  Throwing  :ohno:

Yeah I thought the SEC had good defenses. KU was probably the only defense we faced in the Big XII worse than what we saw last night. We basically did whatever we wanted in the passing game.

Did KU beat y'all too?

Joe adams #3.  The nations best punt returner. That's who he is.  Also plays WR for the Hogs besides being the best special teams player in america.

Again.  Just ask the ksu jayhawk players who Joe adams is.  They know all about him.  Here i thought snyder was a good coach yet, everyone who watched the game wondered why do you punt the ball to the nations best punt returner?  Seriously?   That had to be the stupidest thing ever.  Oh well, i didn't really expect anything less than inferior talent and coaching from you jayhawks anyway.   haha

If that is true then it makes absolutely NO sense whatsoever why you would punt the ball to Adams.   Ksu was actually in the game until they made the mistake of punting it right to Joe.  You never punt the ball to the best PR guy in the country. You either rugby kick it , or angle kick it away or even just kick it out of bounds.  Oh well, there's a lesson to be learned.  Perhaps Snyder learns it for next season, unless he retires first.

The Gods of the SEC would recruit actual football players who are capable of covering punts. Of course, when your mean temperature is 30 degrees below zero and you average 10 feet of snow on the ground plus no tradition and no hot girls at all, Kansas State is a hard sell to stud football players from Florida and Texas

I guess that means you guys don't want to be in the National Championship game every year since you rejected the Big 12's offer to join a few months ago, thus forcing us to get TCU.  You guys must have some very strong principles going on in order to voluntarily not play in the NC game every year.

We play in the best conference in america.  We play in the most stable conference in america.  The WEAK12 is only alive until Texass decides to go independant.  KSU is lucky that Dodd was able to keep it together otherwise, ksu would be in the gulf south conf.  or MWC. haha..  Seriously, Why would we leave the stability that is the SEC?  We play in the richest conference in america that has the best payouts.  We also receive equal share payouts. Unlike the Weak12 where everyone there is texas' bitch!    We have the best facilities in every sport.  We are the best in every sport. We have more national titles in every sport than any other conference.  etc..etc.. Going through this conference unbeaten or even with one loss actually means something.  It means you are playing for the NC every year!  It also means that , unless you are playing another SEC team, the opponent you face in the championship game is going to be weak.  Better to win it in this league and it mean something than to go pull an OU/okie lite and get a participation trophy just for winning a weak conf. every year.    You Guys FAIL!
