I'm sorry, but I have to post on this crap again. How Dare the OP sully the name of my high school brother Uekman by using it in such a stupid, deepfully mean spirited, and inhuman post. A football game and all other crap-giving posts are one thing. What the OP posted is entirely different. I would have rather lost the game by anything than a young man become paralyzed.

Oh hell....the lovely moderators posted enough of my information (or condoned the posting of my information) a while back.

At this point, the only thing that hasn't been posted is my shoe and bra size, and what my favorite sexual position is (although, I'm sure someone could find it if they dug...)

If it requires digging my first guess would be fisting...

Our players get injured during the game, they don't die in their dorm while doing meth.

Whoever trashed Uekman was out of line in doing so.  Just as those who trashed Meshak.

Bad form to all.

*sigh*  really people?
Mr. Williams could have suffered severe injury, death even with the shot he took.  I'm glad that he wasn't injured too badly, or at all--and that treatment he received was simply precautionary.

Garrett Uekman did nothing to deserve to die.  By all account he was a fine, upstanding young man living his dream of playing for the Hogs.

I know Hog fans and 'Cat fan don't agree on much--but would be nice if we could agree to not be ugly and nasty about Mr. Williams and Mr. Uekman.

i feel sorry for players injured during a hard hitting game.  i don't feel sorry for people who die while using illegal drugs.   :dunno:

No offense to Ukeman, but everyone after they die is suddenly a fine person.

I knew a guy who OD'd on drugs and died (from Missouri naturally) who had a finely written obituary. He was a douche.

LoL--I wasn't commenting on that!  Just that a dead kid and an injured kid shouldn't be picked on!

and for the last time:  There were no drugs involved in Mr. Uekman's death.

KHAN!  I will give you that after a person dies people somehow forget all the negative about that person--but this was a 19 y/o kid who had never been in trouble, who was a student-athlete.  I don't believe that he deserves to have his name dragged thru the mud because he was a Razorback.

All that any of us (you people included) can do is read the report that was released.
Just quit slamming a kid that died @ 19 y/o.  He did nothing to deserve the hatred some of ya'll have spewed directed at him.  I know you're doing it to get under our skin--and to some extent you've succeed.  But you have to know that ya'll are looking incredibly bad picking on a dead kid.

nope! but Penn St. was one of the most respected football programs in the country until a few months ago.

people cover crap up, get used to it... ill take any "sudden death" medical report put out by the university with a grain of salt... people dont just "die" at random, something (ex: drugs) would have caused it.

oh, I understand lies, coverups and deceit.  I prefer to try and think the best of people, until have evidence to contrary.

Garrett (per the report put out) had an undiagnosed heart condition/defect.  Which is plausible given the nature of some heart conditions/defects.
You do know that, right?
You're assumption is as preposterous as me assuming that Mr. Williams' teammate intentionally hit him to try and hurt him.  I mean, perhaps Mr. Williams' banged the other guys girlfriend or stole a favorite Yu-Gi-Oh card.

See?  This is why it's hard to take ya'll as anything but douches!  Can't have an intelligent, coherent and civil exchange of ideas--you have to resort to childish behavior.

FWIW--George Jr. was an idiot President, did more harm than good.  I've read a history book or two: The Southern States lost the civil war.  And I know that the true reason for the Civil War was not strictly the slavery issue as well.

When you can discuss topics without insults and being ignorant, perhaps we can then take some credence in what you have to say.

prove to me that it can't or doesn't happen.
I can bring up numerous articles regarding athletes who have died suddenly from natural resources.
