SEC's greatest defense, no offense
« on: January 06, 2012, 11:51:32 PM »
The SEC's 2nd most prolific offense and most prolific passing team manages 345 total yards.

Let's compare with say, Iowa State, 365 total yards.

Ok, that's a fluke, how about cellar dwellar KU, 286 yds

How 'bout UT, 310 yds (you finally beat them in something, grats)

Former SEC washout Tubberville, 580 yds

Wow, we would allow like 100 yds/game if we played in the sec

Pretty meh offense and defense. Put return was nice if you ignore the obvious block in the back. Really embarrassed we lost.

well guess last night put all that bs to rest.  it isn't that big whatever offenses are good, it's their defenses suck.  kind of reminds me of the time the "greatest offense in the history college football" score a whole 14 points against an SEC defense.  Football is a physical game.  And overall SEC teams are bigger, stronger, meaner and tougher than all the rest of college football.  Come back when you get some men.

Your logic makes no sense.  First of all, Arkansas doesn't have the best offense OR defense in the SEC.  Both those categories go to the only 2 teams that beat Arkansas all year, LSU and Alabama, both of whom would absolutely obliterate Kansas State and any other Big 12 joke team.  The SEC is so clearly dominant tht arguing against that fact at this point is ignoring the obvious facts.  Teams Arkansas beat like Georgia and S. Carolina would've have crushed KState just like Arkansas did last night.

Your team looked so outmatched in Dallas last night that I actually felt sorry for them at times. After watching Arkansas play SEC teams all year, that looked kind of like taking on a high school varsity squad.

I think they'd rather win the statistics category and lose the game.

FYI.  Petrino will only do what is necessary to win the game.  That is why he didn't kick a field goal with 5 seconds left.  Waste of bullets.

Kansas State University - the only fans who congratulate themselves on losing.

That's called "the soft bigotry of low expectations."
I have anger issues and I take college football way too seriously.
