LOL oh look another delusional Arkansas wanting validation and a self-esteem boost.

Not really. I think you guys would have won had you actually ran your offense and ran the ball right at us.  A classic case of overthinking.

Yep, this has always been a problem with LHC Bill Snyder.  You give him a month to prepare he will over think it to death.  His best offensive game plan is usually the first one.  His record after a bye week is atrocious and a month to prepare just makes it worse.

On the upside, the defense played way better than I could have ever hoped, considering how bad the offense played.

Really? Because in past years, that's generally been KU.

Your defense did play very well. I don't understand why you guys are down on your coach. You played a helluva game.. You were just beaten by a more experienced team.I would say we wanted it more, but I don't think that would be true.

i thought the defense played like crap. the yardage total was good but it's only because they played an sec team. if they played like they played tonight against iowa state they would've given up 40 plus. it is what it is though and at the end of the day arkansas beat us far and square and for that you really have to just take your hat off to them.

Let's face it. We gave up a fluke fumble that led to a field goal and a fluke punt return. Props to arkansas for capitalizing on our fluky mistakes.

If he cant', he can always move to Arkansas and probably be mayor somewhere.

Isn't that what Garden City, Kansas is for?

Isn't that what Little Rock, Arkansas is for?

Yep. We didn't play our game for the first time all year. And when you do that halfway decent teams like Ark will take advantage of it.

Yeah, Arkansas only played their C game too.  They still came out pretty well because they were facing a mid major opponent.

It's just a case of Arkansas playing their best game of the year and Kansas State playing their worst. We made more mistakes than we did against OU, and that's why we lost to the 6th best team we've played all year. Oh well. Bowl game victories don't really matter.

In all honesty, this K-State team had no business winning 10 games and going to a major bowl.  We were not the 2nd best team in the Big 12.  We were the grittiest, though.  The talent level of our players is more suited to the Big East.  Arky was good, but defenitely no better than OU, OSU, A&M or Baylor.  They would have lost at least 3 games in the Big 12.  There is no shame in how our season went.  Next year should bring a much improved team and we still may wind up with more losses.

In all honesty, you are a dumbass and this team should be absolutely ashamed of how they performed tonight. Our wide receivers killed 4 different drives and spotted Arkansas 12 points. We could have gone into halftime 0-0 if we would have just punted on first down every drive in the first half. We absolutely are the 2nd best team in the big 12. We played a round robin schedule and proved it. If we don't drop 6 passes in the first half, we win by 20.

ahhh...fellas don't be too hard on your team or your coach! Although the punt to Joe Adams was incredibly stupid on your part!

Go back to Kansas, lick your wounds (and God knows you've got some--I wonder if the ringing in Mr. Klein's head has stopped yet?) and try again next year.  I'm sure with some exceptional recruiting from your local JuCos, figuring out how to handle an actual living, breathing Honest-to-goodness football team, you'll do fine next year *giggle*  Or perhaps not.
Oh yeah--told ya' we were gonna win.

We did play like crap tonight, aside from the defense.  We played over our heads for most of the season.  Like I said, we'll be a much better team next year, but the rect not show it.

I'm still laughing today when I go thru this board.  About 70% of our fans weren't hoggish enough to come on here before the game and talk trash with you guys.  Now they're effing everywhere.  Oh well!

After the euphoria of finally having a quality win over a quality team, I went back and looked at the stats.  Surprisingly even.  KSU showed that with talent and discipline, you can compete against better athletes with more speed.  If you had receivers that could have held on to those early passes, the game might have looked much different.

How can you say that we'd lose three?  OU and O-State would have been the only possible losses.  We both squeaked by aTm, then we handled you guys, the number three Big 12 team.

KSU was about the equivalent of Vanderbilt and Kentucky in the SEC.

It's not like the SEC where there are only 2 good teams and a bunch of mediocre teams. Every team you would face, with the exception of KU, would have at least a 30% chance of beating you. The odds of escaping that with only 2 losses are pretty slim.

Mistakes??

You were OUTPLAYED.  There is a reason we asked other teams besides you to join the SEC.

We want our strength of schedule to be rated higher.  I have a feeling we may not place in the top 5 end of season poll because of the lackluster competition in our bowl game.  Makes me sick.
