It's probably that new Football facade we're setting up on the west side of our stadium and the new basketball practice facility. It only enforces how much richer we are as a fanbase. More giving too.

KU is 43-3 vs. the hayseeds in our last 46 matchups.  69-7 since Ted Owens was fired.  If there's a legitimate reason why K-State still fields a men's basketball program, I'd love to hear it.

/TIA

Come back when you have teams ranked in more than one sport, in the same year. We don't spend all our football money on the basketball program.

Your time would be better spent fishing your goalposts out of the local culverts. Of course, if KU would build an actual stadium, sans track around the field like a podunk high school, you wouldn't have to worry about that, right?

Keep talking smack about basketball...until the tournament, where KU almost invariably fails in laughable fashion. Forget VCU; I'm still laughing about the year before, where you got bounced by Northeastern Upper Ice Cream Tech in the second round. Using your own logic, historically, they own you in that rivalry, correct? Bradley, Bucknell...great rivalries, with KU getting owned, right?

I wouldn't call it a rivalry

But Kentucky owns KU 20-6....

So yes, there are more lopsided "rivalries"

So, we've won 4 of the last 7 at home, and KU fans acted like legitimate crazy people all over the internet today. Apparently there is a limit to how long they can hold in all the insanity and toxic rage that is usually reserved for Missouri. Haven't heard much about how we're not their rivals today, just a lot of sociopaths validating their imaginary moral high ground. I think our rivalry is getting healthier (at least in hobby sport, obviously they can't touch us in the real thing).

Once we tear down their goalposts on Thanksgiving Saturday next Fall, the $hit is going to get real.

So now the series is up to a highly competitive 49-5 in the last 54 matchups.  75-9 since Ted Owens was fired.  K-State is quickly closing the gap!
