I don’t get the confidence for this game at all.  We haven’t played a team of KU’s caliber (or Baylor or MU for that matter) and certainly not on the road.  And while this isn’t a vintage KU team, they are still better than any team we’ve faced so far.  The next 3 games, in winnable order:

Baylor 50%
MU 40%
KU 10%

10%?? you do realize they lost to davidson right? ku simply isnt that good this year. their bench was outscored by north dakota state 20-9. and im fairly certain wvu would skull eff ku

What does them losing to Davidson have to do with our chances tonight? They have better wins than we do. They are the better team and they are at home. I'd put our chances somewhere between 10-20%.

As long as were not down by 15 in the first 4 minutes we win.   Gotta keep the crowd out of it.

Why is everyone treating KU like a deity? If anything, they are the titans, about to be shown the door by our ksu fighting olypians.

Confidence is high. I'm going three and a half bball only fans out a of a possible five.

:bball:  :bball:  :bball:  :combofan:

Positives I'm taking in to this game:

1) We are a deeper, and overall more talented basketball team.

2) We are playing better basketball right now.

Negatives I have to admit:

1) We are relying a lot on some young players who will have never experienced anything like this. How will they respond? Chances are Gip and Angel will be shaken up momentarily. Hopefully one of them responds to the ruckus in a positive way.

2) Mold poisoning. You never know what kind of exotic diseases are floating around the locker room over there. Pray for our boys.

Anywhere I can find stats from previous KSU vs KU games in AFH? Trying to look up our 3pt percentage the past few years.

Last year was horrid, especially in the first half (1-12). We went 6-10 in the second half but we were already behind a bunch.

We ALWAYS get our ass kicked in Allen Landfill, except for the fluke win by the Woolridge team about 8 or 9 years ago.  This is our best bet in a long time to win in Lawrence.  Confidence is high.  :sdeek:

Tonight:
If higgins is reffing: 1
If not: 5

Mizzou: 7
If they still play as bad on the road as last year we should win this

Baylor: 6
They have better talent, but I like our chances better at home
