Lisa Marie Presley RIP.  Does she classify?

I'm more familiar with her celebrity than Jeff Beck or the twitch dude

Ha!  Well I mentioned that it could also go into the "signs of growing old" thread.  Had no idea who the twitch dude was either.. :frown:
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

There are very few people on the planet that were both sired by AND married to “The King”. I think she qualifies.

Quote
If I Could Only Remember My Name is the debut solo album by American singer-songwriter David Crosby, released in February 1971 on Atlantic Records. The guest musicians on the album included Graham Nash, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, and members of Jefferson Airplane, Santana, and the Grateful Dead. The ensemble was given the informal moniker of The Planet Earth Rock and Roll Orchestra.

Check out the song "Cowboy Movie" from that album.  Guitar is Jerry Garcia (Grateful Dead) and bass is Phil Lesh (Grateful Dead).  They were all pals with Crosby and Nash, in particular and would just hang out at the same studio and get mumped up and make music.  Crosby and Nash also contributed a bit to two of the really good Dead albums Working Man's Dead and American Beauty.

i found this obituary online and it’s with a heavy heart that i repost it here. sleep well, young girl.

After a couple of years of failing health Farm kitty/Lil Lil passed peacefully this evening in the burbs of KC. She was born in a barn outside of Colby Kansas, abandoned by her mother as the runt of the litter and nursed back to health by a kind cat rancher.

She lived 5 years on a diet of kibble and eggs and out lived all of her blood relatives who were eaten by coyotes, she brought joy to all around her. She is survived by her younger sister Tazee (another farm cat runt).

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

I was not aware until last week that this:

Was a cover of a Burt Bacharach song.

RIP Miss Fuzzy Britches.  An absolute smokeshow legend, she's gotta be on the Mt. Rushmore of BONER ALERTS.
