Worth sticking around for after Cats hoops on Saturday?

Wife and I went last year and stayed the night with the intent of heavily drinking. We went to several of the bars that night, and there was no one out. No one. It was really rough ridin' cold though...like 6 degrees cold.

I have heard that NYE is pretty cool when the weather is better.

I am going this year, but not staying after the game.

went last year. yeah, it was cold as eff. Frank dropped the apple thingy iirc.

Probably would be fun if you were PI'ing someone though.

Did NYE in Manhattan every year while in school. Always had a good time, its actually better when there are less people out since you dont have to wait in lines to get in to bars.

I'm wondering where you were last year when "no one was out"? I don't remember much, but I know at least 3 places were 1 in, 1 out, at least after midnight...

we hit BWW, Omaleys, Coco Bolos, and a few others. No one was out. We were going to go out and watch the band, but it was ridic cold out and there was only like 20 or 30 people outside.

Def didn't see anything resembling 1 in 1 out anywhere. We walked around a lot too looking for a bar that wasn't slow..
