PSA: NBA season pass
« on: December 26, 2011, 07:04:56 PM »
This week is a free week of NBA season pass; Mike's Twolves are about to tip vs OKC

One of the silver linings of the lockout is this is one of the better weeks of the year for the free opening week.

Haven't heard much about the lawsuit with Bell lately.  One of Beasley's issues in the countersuit was Bell sabotaging any chance of a Nike deal.  I see Beas is sporting some very retro Js (non-concord) tonight.

Why is arena security blocking Adelman from the refs?

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

So funny how NBA teams bump their staff/players down the bench to the baselines to squeeze in another dozen high rollers in the best seats.

How great would it be to have those seats for a game in the OOD?

Does white-shirt sitting next to the OKC staff have to agree to behave?  So weird.

Beasley frequently shoots 20+ times per game, I don't think Rubio is going to help much.

Beasley seems to not be liked nationally by NBA writer types. confirm, deny?

He seems to be implying that Rubio will benefit Beasley in some way, I assume he means scoring.  Beasley gets plenty of scoring opportunities.

I'd say its split.  Some think he's a head case, some think he hasn't been in a system that fits him.  Either way its way too early to write the final script for Mike.  I've spent the last 8 months listening to people gush about how valuable a player and how good of a teammate Lamar Odom is.  Earlier in his career he was trashed just as much as Beasley is, he matured, found a good situation and all of a sudden the same media who trashed him before now treats him like he's Barack Obama.

So are you saying an upgrade at point guard won't help the entire Minnesota roster get better looks?  Did you watch the game tonight?  Did you see Minnesota past year without Berea and Rubio?  Do you understand basic premises about team sports?
