Remember that time we beat Oregon St. 90-72?
« on: December 26, 2011, 01:12:42 PM »
More statsheet fun!

Gilson DeJesus was 6 of 6 from 3 and 1 of 1 from 2.  Also had 10 boards (led the team).

My favorite stat?  Matt Siebrandt played 27 minutes, had 21 points and zero rebounds.

How much would you pay to watch Frank Martin chew out Matt Siebrandt?

That was a fun game to attend, I believe I sat in the chair backs. Fantastic Wooly-era memory. "We just killed a major conference opponent on the noncon!"

I'm always surprised when I look back and see Pasco's contributions (this game is about on par with memory tho)

I tried to model my game in middle school after Matt Siebrandt because of how ambidextrous he was with his post moves. And no, I'm not joking.

I definitely replicated his flopping to roughly similar levels of success.

I get it that it was pretty foolish, but I never understood what the big deal was.  I mean, that game was essentially meaningless.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

It would have been our first ever Big 12 Tournament win if I'm not mistaken.

People also forget that time was added to the clock when he was in the huddle, blame Wooly.  Also there was a referee that also started to leave the court when Pervis caught the ball.

Kendrick Perkins pulled this crap last night and got away with it.

Also, we dropped this return game as well. Clent kicked the ball out of bounds when we had a chance to win at the end. This was honestly the first game where I thought to myself, "Self...Wooly may not be the man for the job."
